Sunday, May 20 Service
Rick
We are excited to be having a service whose sole focus is on the Lord’s Supper. During the service, we will take time to look into God’s Word and focus on Christ’s work on our behalf as well as the thankfulness we should have in our hearts for his work.
Here are the songs that we will sing in worship and adoration of our great God:

This Sunday we’ll be looking at Ephesians 5:1-2. I encourage you to read over the passage, possibly even commit it to memory, before we meet together in worship.

Rick

This Sunday we’ll be looking at Ephesians 4:25-32. The topic is Living the New Life – Our Communication. I hope that you will be in prayer that God would challenge you with how you speak to others in your life, and that you would read through the passage of Scripture ahead of time with your family.
Here is a list of the songs we will be singing in worship to God this Sunday:

This Sunday we’ll be continuing our series in Ephesians looking into Ephesians 4:17-24. I hope you spent time in light of last week’s message pondering what spiritual gifts God has given you through the Holy Spirit. Keep praying that God would grant you wisdom in determining your gift as well as utilizing it in our local church. This week we’ll be looking at the callousness towards God and His Word that exists in the world around us, and how we are to live in light of that hardness.
Here are the songs we will be singing this week. I encourage you to listen through them so they are in your head for this Sunday as we worship God together.
Shout To the North
Almighty Father
In Christ Alone
O Great God
We Lift Your Name
Sunday is a great day, a day to bring our praise and worship of God to Him together as a church family. I look forward to spending tomorrow with you all.

Easter Sunday Service
Rick

This Sunday we have the opportunity to come together as a church family and celebrate an empty tomb. We get to be encouraged by the resurrection of Christ. We get to worship and glorify Jesus for being a Victor over death.
The message will be on 1 Corinthians 15 and will concentrate on verses 50-58. We will learn about the implications of Christ’s resurrection for our lives.

Easter Resources for Your Family
Rick
Here are some resources to take a look at for this Easter season.
To teach children:
- Benjamin’s Box is a book that talks through the story of the week leading up to Easter. It can be used along with a set of Resurrection Eggs.
- What’s in the Bible has done a good blog series on Easter. Today’s post is on talking to your kids about the crucifixion. You can see the list of all their Easter posts here.
- You can come to our church’s Easter Egg Hunt Saturday morning at 10:30am. We’ll be sharing the story of the resurrection during that time.
- Resurrection iWitness teaches kids (& whole family) the evidence of Christ’s resurrection. There is also an iPad app.
For the whole family:
- Come out for our Easter services and learn about the implications Christ’s resurrection has for your life.
- Read through one of the gospel’s accounts on events surrounding Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection. Luke 20 and following would be a good place to read from.
- Justin Taylor has a good series on his blog detailing what happened in the life of Christ during each day of the week preceding Easter. Thursday’s post can be found here.
Enjoy this season of remembering the sacrifice and the victory of Christ.
Sunday, April 1st Service
Rick

This Sunday we will be looking into Luke’s gospel and the account of Jesus’ Triumphal Entry into Jerusalem. The people of Israel are wondering, “Is this the Messiah, the King that will conquer Rome and win our freedom?” Will they receive the answer they are looking for? What are their expectations of Christ? What are our expectations of Christ? Who do you expect Christ to be for you? The One who conquers all your enemies, or your dying Savior?
The text we are using is Luke 19:28-44.
Here is the list of songs for this week along with links:
Much of worship is preparing our hearts ahead of time for the time of worship with the body of Christ that we share on Sundays. Take time to prepare your hearts before you meet with God’s people.
